LivePlan Section #05 (Executive Summary)

For this exercise, we'll be working inside LivePlan.

Here are the steps to take:

1). Obtain a license for LivePlan.com if you have not already done so. A specially reduced student price has been created for this class and can be found at https://partners.liveplan.com/saddleback-college-15. 

2). Log into LivePlan and select the template "LivePlan template for David's course". To access the new template, you will need to first archive any currently active company and restore the new template. If you have trouble, LivePlan has an EXTENSIVE HELP SECTION designed to walk you through the process. They also have a toll free number to walk you through the process from 8-5 on weekdays. 1-888-498-6138 (U.S.)

3). This week's exercise will be to work on the "Plan". Visit the Plan tab as seen below:

4). Click on the "View and edit" tab below that.

5). Complete the following sections in their entirety (unless otherwise noted). Use your workbook as a guide (as well as comments and feedback from myself and others you may have discussed your plan with), but remember that a business plan is a bit more formal. Avoid the first person. Talk about your business in the third person (Rather than "I will build a coffee shop" say "Covfefe is a leading coffee shop.").  Also, remember that this will be a continuous document so avoid repeating yourself through the sections.

6). Once completed, click on the "Download and Print" button

7). In the lower right, select "Chapters" under Setup.  Unselect everything except this week's sections and click "Save and Close". 

8). Finally,  download the PDF by clicking the large "Download as PDF" button. 

9). Upload the PDF to this assignment here in Canvas (using TurnItIn through the link).
